Lamb Loin Chops FAQs
How long do lamb loin chops take to cook?
Around 3 to 4 minutes a side for pink in a hot pan, plus a minute or two rendering the fat edge first.
What is the difference between lamb loin chops and cutlets?
Loin chops come from the loin and have a T-shaped bone with a nugget of meat either side. Cutlets come from the rack, with a single long rib bone.
Can you cook lamb chops on the BBQ?
Yes. Cook over a hot direct heat for 3 to 4 minutes a side, watching for flare-ups as the fat renders.
